A LandsofAmerica.com Buyers Journey: Drilling the Holes for Structural Posts

We've now made a huge project transition from the team building the pad site to the team that's going to be building the barn.  The barn building team showed up on site and without wasting any time started drilling the 30 holes that each are 30 inches wide and up to 8 feet deep.  Yes 8 feet deep!!  That's a huge hole.  They are using a skidsteer to drill down with a drill bit that's 30" wide.  They stop when they hit rock.  In this part of the country you don't have to go very far before you hit rock either.

One hole - 30" in diameter.  That is a FULL SIZE Pepsi can.  It's a HUGE hole!
