A LandsofAmerica.com Buyers Journey: The Barn Materials have Arrived!

The barn materials have arrived at the ranch from Barn Pros!!  Our LandsofAmerica Buyer can now see the actual wood that this barn is going to be constructed with.

As with any project, a challenge popped up over the weekend at the ranch as there was over an inch of rain that fell.  This was great for the land, but not good for 2 semi-trucks delivering thousands of pounds of materials to build a barn.  Fortunately, the Buyer's barn builder, Ron Baker out of Whitehouse Texas, is incredibly experienced with building these structures on rural properties where a number of challenges can arise.  Ron arrived a day before the delivery to prepare and after seeing how muddy the roads and barn site were, he came up with Plan B.  His team ended up unloading the semi trailers directly off of the county road instead of having the trucks come on the ranch down to the barn pad site.  They took each load and placed all the materials just inside the front gate.  They then covered it all to make sure any future weather did not harm anything.  After the ground dries out and the barn pad site is ready, Ron's team will load a huge trailer to move all of the materials from the front of the ranch by the entry gate down to the barn's pad site.
