    The rivers host four runs of salmon each year, while the Hood Canal, about 4 miles east offers unlimited Dungeness crab,shrimp, saltwater fish, oysters and clams.
    Olympia, the State capitol, is about 30 miles south; Tacoma about 1 hour, and Seattle 2 hours by interstate highway or ferry.
