Welcome to your life on the Olympic Peninsula. You'll own a 40 acre parcel on an existing 750+ acre farm that is being converted to organic crops and cross-pastured grass-fed livestock. You'll have 3 to 10 acres for your homesite, where you can grow a garden, stable horses, or whatever use you'd like. The remaining 35+/- acres will be under a conservation agricultural easement combined with other parcels to form one of the larger multicrop organic farms in western Washington.

The farm will be operated by a professional farm management team. You and your family can actively participate in the farming operation if you wish. If you do, you'll earn 'Farm Bucks', to purchase farm products. If you don't participate, you'll still be able to buy food at farm prices. Any profit earned from the sale of farm products to the Puget Sound region of 6.8 million consumers will flow to the Farm Owners Association, which may benefit all owners.

Your children can participate in the local 4-H programs where they'll learn about growing crops and raising animals.

Skokomish Farms is very safe and secure as this land is literally at the very end-of-the-road. The Farms are bordered on the south, east and west by the Skokomish River, while the towering Olympic Mountains guard the north. The North Fork bisects our land, and is perfect for swiming, rafting, kayakng and tubing.

The rivers host four runs of salmon and steelhead each year. The native fish are cutthroat trout. The Hood Canal, about 4 miles east offers unlimited Dungeness crab,shrimp, saltwater fish, oysters, and clams.

Olympia, the State capitol, is 30 miles south, Bremerton 30 miles north, Tacoma about 1 hour, and Seattle 2 hours by interstate highway or ferry. Or journey to the Pacific Ocean only 60 miles west.
