Wind energy potential There are 3 sections in the Klondike Pass, Spaulding Canyon, and Table Mountain area. All 3 sections are in Wind Zone 9, and have an electricity generation potential in Class 5 Excellent, 500-600 W/m2. The Buena Vista Valley bulk land offering consists of higher quality bulk land, close to I-80 at Mill City and right off of Highway 400 with excellent access, even the mountain portion. It is rare to have the opportunity in the I-80 corridor of Nevada to own the mineral rights on approximately 12,374 acres. There are very few locations in Nevada that have the wind classification, even fewer that have the ability to get the power to the grid. There is also the possibility of purchasing water rights in the Buena Vista basin and putting some of the land into production.
