This Georgian Style house was built in 1777 on Main St., the present location of Sloan House, and moved by a team of Oxen to South Street in 1802. In 1952 it was restored to an earlier appearance by Deerfield craftsmen who replicated feather-edged sheathing and paneling while retaining the early timber frame and wide pine flooring throughout the first floor.
