The Castle Horse Ranch consists of 80 very private deeded acres that are surrounded on three sides by the Spring Creek Basin Wild Horse Herd Management Area. The terrain on the ranch ranges from large meadows rolling into sage and pinion pine knobs on up to lush oak brush with pine and sandstone bluffs. The ranch boasts excellent hunting and is surrounded on all sides by more than 20,000 acres of BLM land which includes a Colorado state wildlife area. The ranch has several water sources and includes a small cabin. Currently the ranch is used for horses, grazing cattle and in the fall big game hunting.
