FISHING AND HUNTING ABOUND IN ELKO COUNTY, NEVADA
Fishing is a major recreation activity in the Elko area. Elko County contains the majority of the fishable streams and stocked reservoirs in Nevada, many of which are on public lands. Most of these waters contain trout; however largemouth bass, small mouth bass, crappie and catfish are also plentiful.
