Location: Kimble County, Texas. Entrance to ranch is off of Cleo Rd (RR 2291), only 13 miles from downtown Junction, Texas population 2,618. Junction provides several dining options, lumber store, feed & ranch supply, auto parts, and more only 15 minutes away.
Description: Crystal clear Bear Creek flows year round through the South-West corner of this 727 acre ranch in Kimble County. With live water and large, low-fenced neighbors, this ranch offers some of the best fair-chase hunting around. This area of Bear Creek was first known as Viejo, settled in the 1880s, but was renamed Cleo, Texas in the 1920s. The ranch was originally part of the Morales Ranch, established in the 1800s. According to local ranchers, an old military trail leading to Fort McKavett bisected the ranch.
Improvements: A 2,600+/- Sq. Ft. metal barn was constructed in 2005 and provides 1,300+/- Sq. Ft. of quality living area. Inside there are 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with double vanities, full kitchen, laundry area, and loft for additional sleeping area. Game & Hunting: Roaming White-tail, Axis, Hogs, Turkey, Dove, and Quail. This ranch is being sold with 4 blinds and 3 feeders. The blinds consist of 2 new tower blinds as well as 1 elevated ground blind. The third tower blind is also utilized to hunt and feeders have been filled year round. This ranch has large, low-fenced neighbors, ranging from 300 acres up to 10,000 acres.
