This is a really neat property that has everything for a weekend get-away. The land is divided by CR 512. The north side of the road has approximately 60 acres and the south side approximately 242 acres. The south side of the place includes a big long drainage/ seasonal creek that runs the entire length of the property. There is a spring that is currently running right out of the mountain toward the south end of the property. When we inspected the property for the first time, it was running even though we have not had any rain in an extended period of time (not to mention we are still in a major drought!). The balance (of the southern side of the road) is somewhat open terrain with scattered timber. On both sides of the drainage, the terrain/elevation rises quickly offering some amazing views. Also on the south side of CR 512 is a frame, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, home that has approximately 1,636 sq ft of living area. The home is in good condition and includes a Range/oven, dishwasher, central heat/air, and a metal roof. There is also a good water well & the house is on a septic tank. Behind the house are several outbuildings/barns & a nice set of pipe livestock working pens. The fences seem to be in good condition.
The property on the north side of CR 512 includes a seasonal creek that appears to move a heavy volume of water with a heavy rain. There is also one seasonal stock tank, good elevation change and scattered timber.
Other notes of interest include... The property has not had livestock on it in several years. There are a couple of older fields that use to be cultivated that are currently in native grasses (fields could be easily be reestablished). The general area and this property is know for a high population of deer & feral hogs.
