This West Carroll Parish tract contains 112 +/- acres with a good stand of pine pulpwood that can provide a future return from timber production. The tract also offers good hunting opportunities. The pine area consists of approximately 90 acres, with another 12 acres along the creek and wet area, and approximately 5 acres of planted oak trees along Hwy 17. The remaining acreage consists of open areas.
There are 82.42 acres in CRP that expires in 2017. The pine plantation has been thinned, and it will be ready for another thinning/harvest soon. With road frontage along Hwy 17 and Hurt Rd, there are also possibilities for development.
