Approximately 16 miles west of Kauder Creek Subdivision is the small community of Kendrick, Idaho. Kendrick was established in the late 1800s as a depot stop on the Northern Pacific Railroad line. Where trains once traveled, now visitors and area residents can enjoy a nature walk or bike ride. The railroad line was converted to the Ed Corkill Memorial River Trail which skirts the Potlatch River for over 5 miles. This quaint town is within a 35 minute drive from both Lewiston, Idaho and Moscow, Idaho. So it is close to shopping and entertainment but still offers the solitude of the country life.
