The 178 acre Broach Creek Tract in Stewart County GA is a quality timber tract and hunting property with a nice mix of upland, creek bottoms, and two great beaver ponds. Broach Creek is a large creek that flows through the property, and is fed by a couple of smaller tributaries that also flow through the property. The creek averages about 45 feet wide. In the center of the property is a 4.2 acre beaver pond with plenty of beautiful open water Just upstream from it is a 1.8 acre beaver pond, also with some open water. These two beaver ponds appear to have open water present all the way back to 1993 aerials on Google Earth, and most likely have been full of water much longer than that. These two ponds being the only open water in the immediate area, and so close to the Chattahoochee River, provide excellent duck hunting opportunities. The terrain ranges from flat to a gentle roll. Adding to these positive attributes, the +-5600 acre Hannahatchee Wildlife Management Area is the south neighbor, for additional hunting acreage.
