The Rio Grande and San Juan National Forests are both about 25 miles to the West, and the Great Sand Dunes National Park is 10 miles Northeast.

The topography of the parcel ranges from level to slightly rolling pasture from North to South, with some rolling foothill terrain, and moderate grass cover. The average elevation of the ranch is approximately 7,500.

Turn right onto Two Mile Road and go East approximately 5 miles to the intersection of "Stephen Street" on the left. This is the first entrance to the ranch, marked "Circle DJ Ranch" on a wooden sign. Turn left into the ranch, proceed one mile to the end, and turn left. Parcel #6 begins 1/4 mile down of the left side.
