Reed Plantation (AKA Wytopitlock) is a wilderness town in northeastern Maine. The area is well known for its vast forest and quality hunting and fishing.
The 195 +/- acres is located off grid on a private road. The lot has had a recent thinning timber harvest which has created clean trails for hunting, ATVing or nature walking. The residual stand of timber is well spaced abd primarily mixed wood with a lot of maple in good condition and growing fast.
The NRCS soil survey indicates quality farm soils on the property. Many of the trails have been cleaned or brush and debris and could easily be food plotted. This would make the perfect off grid farm, recreational retreat, hunting property or strategic relocation property. Nearby the Reed land are several streams and lakes such as Wytopitlock Stream and Lake, Molunkus Lake and the Mattawamkeag River. Call Phil at 207-290-0372.
