This tract is located in the Barlow bottoms just south of ballard county refuge along the ohio river. Its unique due to the fact that there is a mile long lake that creates it eastern border and the ohio river creating its western border. This creates a very protected tract making it great to manage and grow some older bucks. The open ground has been planted in trees and allowed to just grow up naturally creating prime buck bedding and excellent turkey nesting habitat. There are numerous deer trails, old and new rub lines and tons of turkey scratching throughout the farm. Sellers have killed ducks here for years on the lake and in the backwater. Sellers say the duck hunting is at its best when the backwater is out. They have an older blind on the north end of lake and they hunted a natural swag on the south end of open area when back water is out. Planted in corn this swag serves two purposes, deer food plot and great duck hunting in backwater. There are several other great food plot locations scattered throughout farm.
