From the Dolores side of the Norwood-Dolores Road.
Halfway through Dolores you will see signage on the road pointing to the Norwood-Dolores Road, Beaver Park, etc. Turn here (11th Street) - you will see the road climbing up. Take this Norwood-Dolores Road (County Road 31) for 32 miles (50 minutes) from Dolores 22 miles from the end of the pavement. Right on Elk Lane - 1 mile to end.

Note: Gate at entrance to Elk Lane is kept closed to keep the cattle out. Please close this gate again.
