Badgerland Farm Credit Services has announced that it is now offering a new service called Commodities Direct, which will allow agricultural producers the ability to receive Chicago Board of Trade quotes and USDA crop reports sent via text message directly to their cell phones. Badgerland says upon enrollment, producers can customize their incoming message by selecting frequency (overnight, open, midday, close, etc.), commodities and contract month. Changes can also be made to these selections at any time.
