How to Add a New Property for Sale
Source: LandsofAmerica.com, by Support Team

Regardless of how much property for sale you have, we have room for it with an unlimited number of listings per account.

This article assumes you have already signed up and have your login information.

Our network of sites focuses on the niche of land for sale. Property that is rural in nature. Timberland, farms, ranches, lake houses, river property, recreation, and country homes do very well on our site because of the type of buyers we promote our website to.

To add a new property for sale listing to your LandsofAmerica.com account, you must first log in.

Once logged in, you will have a new list of options at the top of the screen, look for and click "add listings".

The first page you will be taken to is for the information. The very first thing you need to do is select the state the property for sale is in (shown as "1" in the image below). Once the state is selected it will populate the "county" list (shown as "2" in the image below).

Next select the county your property for sale is in. After that fill in as much information as you have on the property for sale such as city, address, acreage, price, property type, and longitude & latitude.

The fields below that are for description and directions to the property for sale. The description of the property for sale is very important to fill out if there are any special instructions to contact the seller, or details about the property for sale a potential buyer might want to know. Website addresses are not permitted in this field.

The final field is the directions to find the property for sale. Some people choose to fill this out, others prefer to be contacted.

Once this form is complete, you click "Submit Property Information" at the bottom of the page.

It will then save the details of the property for sale and take you to the picture page.

The picture page is where you upload the images of your property for sale. The top field is for the main picture. This is where you upload the image you want to show up next to the listing. To upload the picture, you need to have the image saved and ready on your computer. Click the "Browse" button and locate the picture on your computer. When you find it, double click it. Now just click "Upload" and it will put the picture on our website and attach it to that property for sale listing, as well as, resize the picture for you automatically.

The next area below that is for additional pictures in the Photo Tour. They are done in the same way as above using the "Browse" button to locate them and upload, except with these they need to have a descriptive name. You can give it a generic name such as "property for sale picture #2" or you can name it after what the picture details such as "barn with open land".

That is it, you've now added a new property for sale listing to your account which should appear under "My Listings" and live on our websites.
