ASU easement gift makes 1168 acres a wetlands lab

An east Arkansas farmer has donated to Arkansas State University a permanent conservation easement on more than a thousand acres of land in Cross and Poinsett counties. The land is to be used as an outdoor wetlands laboratory by ASU students and professors for research into fish, waterfowl and wildlife habitats. May 04, 2011
