Bryant School Board approves $1.7 million land purchase for new elementary

The Bryant School Board unanimously approved an offer to purchase approximately 130 acres of land located at Hill Road and Highway 183 in Bryant for $1,700,000. Immediately after approving the land acquisition, the 5 member Board also approved an Architectural Contract with Jackson, Brown, King Architects of Little Rock for their services in developing a new elementary school to be built on the newly purchased land. Both votes were in agreement with the recommendations of Mr. Randy Rutherford, superintendent of schools.
