L.A. business snatches up 80 acres from credit union

A newly formed Los Angeles business has emerged to snatch away a big chunk of land in the heart of Temecula's Wine Country from a Napa Valley hotel investment group that had planned to build an exclusive getaway on the 80-acre property. August 16, 2011 Creative Space Innovation LLC, which registered as a business entity only last month with the agency that oversees corporate records in the state, bought the swath of land at the southwest corner of Rancho California Road and Calle Contento for $3.8 million, or about $400,000 less than the asking price advertised by broker Prudential California Realty, according to records filed with Riverside County.
