Open Space District Purchases 175 Acre Property in Hills Above Los Gatos

A private Los Gatos landowner has sold nearly 176 acres of open space for $1.4 million to the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District in the hopes of preserving the land's natural beauty in perpetuity. The agency's board of directors unanimously approved the purchase of the property in unincorporated Santa Clara County at a public meeting in Los Altos Wednesday night.
