REDLANDS City owned citrus grove could be sold

The potential sale of a 37-acre orange grove in north Redlands to a developer who may seek to develop a logistics center on the site will be considered by the City Council on Tuesday. The developer, Howard Industrial Partners LLC, would pay $12,345,911 for the city-owned grove, which sits along Palmetto Avenue between California and Nevada streets. It is surrounded by warehouses on three sides and the city’s California Street landfill to the north.
