Boulder County open space panel supports two farmland preservation proposals

Boulder County Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee members voted unanimously Thursday to endorse conservation-easement acquisitions intended to limit most future development on two privately owned farms near Longmont. February 24, 2011 Under one of those transactions, Boulder County would pay $835,000 for a conservation easement over the 80-acre Gary Ward family property north of Longmont.
