Farmland prices approaching all time highs in Colorado

At a time when most of our economic news seems negative, the world of agriculture is enjoying high commodity prices and booming land prices. November 08, 2011 In Yuma, Colo., last week, a family with farmland auctioned some of their property for $3.3 million. The auction is indicative of how high land prices are right now. "This auction is near an all-time high for almost all the land classes," Jordan Willeke, a loan officer with Premier Farm Credit, said.
