Town of Orange acquired the land along Wheelers Farms Rd. & Derby Milford Rd. in Orange, Connecticut from Harvey Hubbell, Inc. for $7.1 million, or about $19,000 per acre. December 14, 2011 The 375.94 acres of commercial land was the largest land sale in the state of Connecticut in the past several years. The Town of Orange does not have any development plans for the land and will use it as open space for now.
