Army signs purchase agreement for Lee Farm in Danbury will build reserve training facility on site

Military officials are under contract to purchase a portion of the Lee Farm property and are moving forward with plans to build a U.S. Army Reserve training facility on the site, a spokesman confirmed Monday. Ken Buyer, a spokesman with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, said the Wooster Heights Road property was selected as the location for the training facility earlier this month and a purchase agreement was signed with the landowner Thursday.
