Open space group purchases 63 acre Sheep Farm property

The Groton Open Space Association announced Tuesday that it has completed the purchase of a 63-acre tract known as the Sheep Farm, using a loan from The Conservation Fund. December 22, 2010 The parcel will be open to the public for passive recreation and an outdoor classroom, providing opportunities for historical and natural studies and community enjoyment, GOSA said in a news release.
