Plymouth voters OK reservoir buy Town will get 178 acres for $1.45 million

Residents packed the Town Hall community room Tuesday for a town meeting at which they voted overwhelmingly to buy the Plymouth Reservoir from the Connecticut Water Co. The 90-4 vote to spend $1.45 million in federal and state grants will allow the town in coming months to open the 178-acre property that for decades has been off limits to the public.
