289 acres sold in Manatee

A company managed by home builder and developer Carlos Beruff has purchased 289 acres out of foreclosure for $3.7 million, or about $12,850 per acre. December 13, 2011 The property, at 112 Upper Manatee River Road, in Manatee County, previously sold for $8.7 million in January 2005, or for about $30,000 per acre, according to court records.
