County OKs plan for 23000 acres

The Nassau County Commission approved Monday a plan to develop 23,000 acres in East Nassau County. The plan defines land use, and the land - owned by TerraPointe, Rayonier's real-estate arm - would be developed over the course of the next five decades. June 02, 2011 The approval came during a packed public hearing, during which most speakers seemed to support the plan.
