Floridas conservation fund again put on hold

It was once the largest conservation land-buying program in the nation, a $300-million-a-year jewel that in the past 10 years has set aside 2.4 million acres of open spaces, parks, and wildlife habitat. Now, Florida Forever is enduring a second year of zero funding and being put under the microscope by conservative policymakers.
