IMG Academies buys another 110 acres

IMG Academies, the Bradenton sports training company that hones the talents of some of the world's best professional athletes, has bought land that will allow a big expansion in its campus. The company, which already has 325 acres in west Bradenton, paid nearly $7.5 million for 110 more. The land was sold by Manatee Fruit Co., a 120-year-old agricultural enterprise that has grown flowers and vegetables on the land for more than 100 years.
