Stronach associate makes significant Florida land buy

Mike Rogers, a racing and business manager to Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs operations, reportedly was involved in what a longtime local assistant property appraiser called the “largest land sale I can remember” earlier this month. July 25, 2011 The Ocala Star-Banner reported that Rogers, as manager/member of Plum Springs LLC, purchased 7,376 acres of land along Lake Kerr in the Ocala National Forest for $13,276,800 or $1,800 per acre. The report said those familiar with the purchase believe that Rogers “made the purchase on behalf of wealthy horseman and industrialist Frank Stronach."
