Montaluce goes on tax auction block

If you've ever dreamed of owning a lot overlooking a vineyard or with a view of North Georgia's scenic mountains or on the banks of the Etowah River, Oct. 5 may be your chance. That's the date 159 parcels in Montaluce Vineyards and Estates will be up for sale on the Lumpkin County Courthouse steps for back taxes. September 15, 2010 The listings took up about nine pages in The Dahlonega Nugget's legals section last week. That's because each of the 159 parcels had to be listed separately, just as they appear on the tax digest, said Tax Commissioner Rachel Pruitt.
