Bill would expand hunting, fishing on federal lands

A bipartisan bill introduced in the U.S. House last week would potentially open additional federal land to hunting and fishing. September 16, 2011 Introduced by Congressman Dan Benishek, R-Crystal Falls, and Dan Boren, D-Okla., the "Recreational Fishing and Hunting Heritage and Opportunities Act" would require the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management to provide access on federal land for hunting, trapping, fishing and recreational shooting.
