Land at old Canton golf course officially sold

About 40 acres of land at the former Canton Public Golf Course have been sold, ending months of speculation and attempts to keep the property as a golf course. October 01, 2010 Owner Jim Petersen said the sale, announced Friday, involves acreage on the south side of the former course along Main Street and Fourth Avenue.
