No recession in farmland prices

Farmland prices in Illinois appear ready for another record run-up. January 31, 2011 A report released Monday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows the average price of $4,280 an acre in 2010 was up more than 3 percent from 2009 and was just $30 short of the record set in 2008.
