Farmers Protect Nearly 90,000 Acres of Land

Seven diverse farms and ranches from across the country are being lauded for their environmental stewardship. Landowners in states across the country were singled out by the National Cattleman’s Foundation (NCF) as examples of outstanding resource management. Regional winners, which were announced this summer, will compete for the national award at the cattle industry’s winter meeting in February 2011. The winners will receive the National Environmental Stewardship Awards (NESA).
