ISU prof to speak on farmland values

SIOUX CITY -- Security National Bank’s Wealth Management division is hosting a freeone-hour presentation Thursday at Morningside College. An informal reception with hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Yockey Room of the Olsen Student Building, followed by a presentation featuring Michael Duffy, an Iowa State professor and director of the Beginning Farmer Center.
Duffy will address factors that impact Iowa farmland values. His presentation will focus on current Iowa land values and rents, Iowa farmland demographics and farmland transfers and outlooks.
