Central Kansas farmland continues to rise in value

Farmers National, a firm that specializes in brokering and managing agricultural land, said that central Kansas farmland continues to appreciate. June 10, 2011 The average sale price for irrigated land rose to $4,000 an acre this month from $3,000 an acre a year ago. Non-irrigated land rose to $2,500 an acre from $2,000 an acre.
