WALTON - The Boone County Conservation District has a program about farmland protection 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 at the Boone County Public Library's Walton Branch, 21 S. Main St.

Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore will talk about the importance of farmland preservation to the county's future. Mary Kathryn Dickerson of the conservation district's staff will give a presentation called "Farmland Preservation Through Kentucky's Agricultural District Law."
