Bank buys 35 acre tract in Ascension sheriffs sale

The last 35-acre tract of the 102-acre Eagles Landing subdivision on La. 42 east of Joe Sevario Road has been purchased at an Ascension Parish sheriff’s sale. Representatives of Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Co., which holds a $4.3 million note on the property from a loan to the developers, outbid a contractor whose company also held a lien on the project.
