A foundation established by Maine philanthropist Roxanne Quimby has purchased 965 acres of forestland east of the Appalachian Trail in Elliotsville Township. September 07, 2011 The land is made of the Little and Big Wilson streams. It is characterized by cliffs, gorges, waterfalls and other habitat.
