Maine land trust seeks $700k to preserve scenic Casco hill

A Maine land trust is hoping to raise $700,000 to purchase and preserve a scenic hill spot in the town of Casco so it remains open to the public. June 13, 2011 The Loon Echo Land Trust received its first major pledge for the project to buy 27 acres on Hacker's Hill last week when Casco residents voted at town meeting to donate $75,000.
