BPW Approves Easement Purchases of 710 Acres of Farmland in Charles St Marys

The Maryland Board of Public Works approved the purchase of eight easements protecting 1,034 acres of Maryland farmland in four counties for approximately $4.5 million in State and local funding. Of that total, 4 easements consisting of 542.85 acres are in Charles County ($2,566,690.09) and two easements consisting of 167.75 acres are in St. Mary's County ($780,133.64), for a total cost of $3,346,823.73.
