Camp Moshava receives conservation grant from Maryland

Habonim Dror Camp Moshava has received $1.36 million from the state of Maryland to permanently set aside 230 acres for conservation. October 17, 2011 The grant, the largest of its type this year, comes through Maryland’s Rural Legacy Program and affects 85 percent of the land at Camp Moshava. Located in Hartford County, the land to be set aside will preserve the habitats of native plant and wildlife species, support natural resources, and protect forests and wetlands.
