Leopold Moves Forward on Preserving 600 Acres in South County

County Executive John R. Leopold is moving forward on his plan to preserve more than 600 acres of rural land on Rockhold Creek in South County and plant thousands of trees. March 06, 2011 The Anne Arundel County Council approved the purchase of development rights on a 206-acre woodland property in the Deale/West River area of South County yesterday. The Thompson property is located along Nutwell Sudley Road. The County will next move to close on the property.
