Bay City reviews $25 million plan to develop Uptown at RiversEdge site

A 40-acre swath of land along the Saginaw River in Bay City — considered by many to be one of the most attractive parcels for development in Michigan — could see new life as early as next year. Bay City commissioners Monday night approved a purchase agreement o sell the land, known as Uptown at RiversEdge, to Saginaw developer Dr. Samuel Shaheen and his company, SSP Associates.
